Access to and the exercise of the legal profession is regulated by Act no. 247 of 31.12.2012.
In any case, the lawyer in the performance of his duties, must always scrupulously abide by professional ethics rules in customer relationships, with the Judiciary and el counterparts, according to the principles set out in Code of Legal Ethics.
As regards the economic aspect, unless otherwise agreed with the customer for the specific professional task (which is based on maximum freedom to contract, despite some limitations such as the ban on contingency fee agreement or the general principle of adequacy of remuneration the importance of the appointment and the reputation of the profession in art. 2233 cc), the lawyer's fees are currently covered by the tariff provided by Ministerial Decree n. 55/2014.
